Setting Up Labor and Material Charge Categories

The profile Labor feature allows you to enter labor rates for each labor and material charge category. This feature also allows you to apply tax for each charge category.

To set up labor and material charge categories

1. Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar.
2. Select the profile, and the select Edit from the mini-toolbar.
3. Click on the Labor link under Rates.
4. From the Labor/Material Charge Category pane, enter the dollar value in the Rate $ field for one or more charge categories.
5. Select the tax type to apply to the charge category if applicable.
6. Select Save or Save and Close.
